Jimmy Kimmel's wife, Molly McNearney, gave birth to the couple's first child on Thursday, July 10, the talk show host announced via Twitter:

The comedian is already father to son Kevin and daughter Katherine, both in their 20s, from his first marriage, while this is Molly's first child. He initially announced her pregnancy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in February.

"It's funny, because I was just with some friends who had a baby. I was like, 'Oh, yeah.' There's new ways to do things," he said at the time, joking that he and his wife were considering "Karate or The Riddler" as possible baby names.
