Mike Seaver will never forget his dad, Dr. Jason Seaver.

Hours after Alan Thicke's untimely death, his Growing Pains co-star and TV son Kirk Cameron paid an emotional tribute to the late star on social media.

"I spent Monday through Friday for seven important years with Alan Thicke as my 'TV dad.' I'm shocked and truly heartbroken today at the news of his death," Kirk, 46, wrote on Instagram. "Alan was a generous, kind and loving man. I am so blessed to have grown up with him. [My wife], Chelsea, and I send our love and prayers to his family tonight. We will cherish the memories… 'sharing the laughter and love.'"

The two starred in the hit sitcom together from 1985 until 1992. Alan passed away from a heart attack on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at age 69. He will be missed!

Still most known for his role on the 80s sitcom, the star continued acting and appeared on shows like How I Met Your Mother and The Bold and the Beautiful. Alan sadly died at age 69 on Dec. 13, 2016 after suffering a heart attack.

The 47-year-old took a break from the acting world after Growing Pains to focus on raising her three children, Dylan, Aiden and Sage. In 2004, she was arrested for drunk driving after she rolled her SUV — which carried her husband and children — down the road. After getting three years probation, she cleaned up her act and later welcomed another child, Bailey. In 2011, she publicly spoke out about her previous battles with anorexia and bulimia.

After the show wrapped, Jeremy, 39, struggled with alcoholism for several years. He is now sober.
