In a new interview, Reese Witherspoon revealed she thinks her 16-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, is “so much cooler” than her — but we didn’t think anyone could be cooler than Reese!

“[Ava is] so much cooler than I am!” the Legally Blonde actress told Us Weekly. “She’s very cutting-edge and she knows a lot about fashion, and she has her own sense of style, which is amazing.”

“We try to kind of confer about new styles,” the mom-of-three explained of her relationship with the fashionable teen. “She tells me whether or not I can wear things.”

This past weekend, Ava (seated second from left in the above photo!) attended California’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival sporting pink hair and cute hippie-chic attire — and looked just like her famous mama in her Instagram pics!

Reese, 40, and her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe, 41 — who were married from 1999 until 2007 — welcomed Ava in September 1999. They are also parents to a 12-year-old son, Deacon. Reese is additionally a mom to a three-year-old son, Tennessee, with her current husband, Jim Toth.
